Theatre Privé Terms and Conditions *

1. Ticket Purchases

  • Group Rate Discounts: Theatre Privé purchases tickets at group rates, which require a minimum number of bookings to be met. If we do not reach this minimum through individual Theatre Privé bookings, we may need to cancel the order. Although this is rare, I must include this possibility in my terms and conditions. In such cases, all payments, including the service charge, will be fully refunded, and individual ticket orders will not be processed.

  • Subject to Availability: All tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

  • Non-Refundable: Once purchased, tickets are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.

2. Pricing and Fees

  • Transparent Pricing: Ticket prices are set at the actual cost to Theatre Privé, with a service charge added to cover essential operational expenses, including card processing fees, website maintenance, membership administration, and sourcing time. This service charge also fairly accounts for the time and expertise involved in sourcing tickets, as well as the added value of personalised services—such as restaurant recommendations and theatre trip tips - to enhance your experience. The full breakdown of costs will always be clearly outlined in the description section of each show's booking page.

  • Service Charge: The service charge is automatically included in the ticket price at checkout, so there's nothing additional you need to do. This charge is non-refundable, unless your order is personally cancelled by us as stated above.

3. Seat Allocation and Availability

  • Advertised Seat Rows: While I will always strive to provide accurate seat row details, I reserve the right to change seat locations to equally valued alternatives if necessary.

  • Group Seating: Efforts will be made to seat groups together. For larger bookings, seating may need to be split across rows.

  • Special Requirements: I will do my best to accommodate special seating needs, subject to availability.

4. E-Tickets and Communication

  • Ticket Delivery: Tickets are issued as e-tickets and sent to the email address provided at checkout no later than 2 weeks before the performance.

  • Verification: Upon receipt, check your tickets for accuracy (performance date, time, and venue). Notify me promptly if you do not receive them.

  • Storage: It is your responsibility to keep your tickets safe until the performance date.

5. Theatre Cancellations and Unexpected Events

  • Cancellations by the Theatre:

    • If a performance is canceled, you will have the option of:

      • A rescheduled date.

      • A credit note for the full amount paid.

      • A refund to the original payment method (minus the service charge).

    • Credit notes are valid for one year from the original performance date.

    • Travel, accommodation, or other related expenses are not covered.

  • Unforeseen Circumstances: I cannot offer refunds, exchanges, or cancellations for missed performances due to:

    • Illness.

    • Travel delays, including train strikes or traffic.

    • Other unexpected events.

6. Resale and Personal Use of Tickets

  • Non-Transferable for Profit: Tickets are for personal use only and must not be resold for more than the original purchase price.

  • Prohibited Resale: Tickets advertised on social media or resale platforms will be cancelled, and the entire group booking may be voided.

  • Sharing with Friends or Family: You may share tickets with others at or below the original price you paid.

7. Membership and Contact Policy

  • Membership Requirements: Tickets are exclusively available to Theatre Privé members. Membership is free.

  • Box Office Contact: Do not contact the theatre box office directly. As part of a group booking, only I can handle ticket-related queries.

  • Order Cancellations: I reserve the right to cancel any order at my discretion if you do not adhere to the terms and conditions.

8. Suitability and Venue Policies

  • Suitability for Children: It is your responsibility to check age restrictions and suitability of performances directly with the theatre.

  • Special Effects: For productions involving strobe lighting, loud noises, smoke effects, etc., please confirm details with the theatre as I do not provide specific information.

9. Production and Travel Changes

  • Production Changes: Producers may change cast members or production details at short notice. I cannot guarantee the appearance of specific performers.

  • Travel Delays: I am not liable for delays due to traffic or unforeseen circumstances. Refunds will not be provided for extended journey times.

10. Liability

  • Scope of Liability: Theatre Privé is only responsible for the cost of tickets. I am not liable for additional expenses, including but not limited to:

    • Travel costs.

    • Accommodation.

    • Meals or other incidental expenses.
